Made fresh at our farmhouse in Fujairah every morning - this is high quality Cultured Ghee.
We milk the cows early morning. Milk is then fermented overnight to make yogurt.
Next day, yogurt is churned to make cultured butter. We churn the yoghurt by hand using a traditional wooden stick in a clay pot. Once the yogurt is converted into butter, it is warmed on low flame wood fire to convert butter into cultured ghee.
Ghee contains good amount of healthy fats, vitamin A, E and D. Although, many of us think that the high content of fat in ghee is bad for health but, if you don’t know this, fat is something which is one of the major nutrients that is required by our body to function properly. Ghee is full of omega-3 fatty acids, which are good fats and are essential for improving the brain and heart health. It also provides a lot of energy to the body. So, overall, we can say that ghee is quite nutritious and healthy. These healthful fatty acids support a healthy heart and cardiovascular system. Studies show that using ghee as a part of a balanced diet can help reduce unhealthy cholesterol levels

Why Cultured Ghee?
- Cultured Ghee has a more buttery taste as a result of fermentation of the cream. Many people prefer the taste and aroma of cultured foods. It is healthier and more nutritious compared to factory made ghee.
- Our traditional Cultured Ghee recipe has been used for thousands of years. The ancient tradition of Ayurveda considers Cultured Ghee important for strengthening Agni, our powerful digestive fire.
- Cultured Ghee is known as Desi Ghee in India, where the word desi means prepared with indigenous method.
- We do not use creaming machines, any artificial chemicals or preservatives.
- Our cows are fed grass that is grown locally on the farm without use of any pesticides or fertilizers. We do not give any hormonal injections to the cows to boost their milk production.
